Discourt and Beyond
Reimagining how the world plays — one constraint at a time.
We started with a simple question: what if the biggest barriers to play — space, equipment, referees, physical risk — weren't problems to solve, but design principles to build with?
The Sport
Discourt: The world's first all-court sport
Discourt is where this philosophy became playable for everyone. Born from the principles of Ultimate Frisbee and shaped by the belief that play should be radically accessible — Discourt is designed so that anyone, anywhere, with almost anything, can play.
Court Agnostic
Pickleball, tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball, futsal — Discourt plays on all of them. Same rules, any court. Indoors or outdoors, grass or concrete, a garden or a parking lot. If there's a surface, there's a game.
Small-Space Friendly
No stadium required. If you have a room, you have a court.
Tool Agnostic
Flying disc, rugby ball, handball. Anything that flies and can be caught.
Mixed Gender
Built for everyone to play together, always.
Self-Officiating
No referees. Trust, fairness, and the Spirit of the Game are the rules.
Non-Contact
Safe for every age, every skill level, every body.
How to play
Four rules. Few minutes to learn. Anywhere to play.
Mark a court
Any existing court — badminton, tennis, basketball, futsal — or any rectangular space. 12m × 18m is ideal. No markings? Use bottles, bags, or cones.
Form two teams
5-a-side. Mixed gender. Mixed skill. No bench. Substitutions every 90 seconds.
Move the disc (or ball)
You can't run with it. Pass to a teammate. Catch in the end-zone to score.
Self-referee
No whistles. No officials. Disputes are resolved by the two players involved. The Spirit of the Game matters more than any single point.

Beyond Discourt
But we didn't stop at one sport
Discourt started with a disc. But the principles — self-officiation, radical inclusion, play anywhere — extend to every sport we touch. Cricket, football, track, badminton. Discourt isn't just a sport. It's a standard.
The same principles that shaped Discourt are now being applied to the sports the world already loves. Cricket. Football. Rugby. And beyond.
We're not replacing tradition — we're making it more inclusive. Stripping away barriers while preserving the soul of each game.
Every constraint that keeps people from playing is a design problem. And we're solving them, one sport at a time.

Where this comes from
The people behind Being Ultimate have spent years playing, coaching, and championing Ultimate Frisbee — one of the most socially conscious elite sports on the planet. Some of us have represented India on the global stage as players and coaches. Our core team includes two former Presidents of the Flying Disc Sports Federation of India (FDSFI), the Chairperson of its Competitions Committee, and a Director of the Asia Flying Disc Federation.
We didn't arrive at this philosophy in a boardroom. We lived it — on fields, in tournaments, across continents.
Ultimate's Spirit of the Game framework is what makes it truly inclusive and organic. It trusts players to be fair, to self-govern, and to compete with integrity. No sport does this better.
Our vision is to take this philosophy to as many playing spaces as possible.

The Medium
Movement & play
At the heart of everything is a simple conviction: play is how people truly connect.
Not just on a field or a court. In classrooms where students learn to trust each other. In workplaces where colleagues become teammates. In communities where strangers become neighbours.
Indoors, outdoors, or online — wherever people move together, something meaningful happens.
